Capacity

The main hall area will seat approximately 100 people theater style, or about 80 seated at three long tables for meals or workshops. If you are running an event or gathering without seats the hall is able to hold 100 people standing to conform with Fire Regulations.

Kitchen facilities

The kitchen has a standard domestic stove, a standard domestic sink, a domestic fridge/freezer, an upright freezer and an instant hot and cold water on demand system.

The crockery and cutlery is mismatched and fits well with a country hall theme. You are welcome to use it if it suits your needs. There is a very limited amount of serving platters and bowls though.

The hall also has an urn and quirky cups for tea and coffee and an urn should you require it.

Centre facilities

Tables, chairs, ceiling fans for summer, wall heaters for winter.

There are 20 tables that will seat 6 each comfortably . You can arrange them in long rows or a giant square - whatever works best for what you want to do. The tablecloths we can provide are a dark maroon colour with a few dark green ones. They all match the hall's colour scheme. There are enough chairs to seat 80.

We have some large wooden tables that make a great wedding party table or can be used for a buffet area near the kitchen.

There is a small stage and a lectern. You will need to provide your own PA system and audio visual if you need one on the day.

General amenities

Limited off-street parking,
Disability access

Wedding reception-specific information

The Council requires a $500 bond for groups that number 100 or more.

The hall seats 100 people theatre style, so if you are planning on a dance area, we may have to be a bit creative with the arrangements. There is an alcove with a table that is a great spot for the cake and/or wedding presents. Wedding presents or a wishing well also work well in the entrance way.

The kitchen has a standard domestic stove, a standard domestic sink, a domestic fridge/freezer, an upright freezer and an instant hot and cold water on demand system. Please note there are NO SHOPS on Springbrook - no ice is available - you will need to bring your own if you require it.

There is a small stage and a lectern. You will have to provide your own PA system and audio visual if you need one on the day.

There are two unisex toilets inside the building and two outside. Paper and towels are provided!

There are fans and heaters in the hall that can be used depending on the weather on the day.

There is parking for no more than 15 cars on the premises. There is some street parking. Please ask your guests to keep the entrance to the council waste depot across the road clear as local residents will be using this facility - especially on a Saturday!

There is also no petrol available on the mountain. Please advise your guests to fill up at Nerang.

There are two people who are happy to do the heavy cleaning for you. They do things like pack up any left over decorations/food/wedding items on to the bench at the entrance, pack up the tables and chairs, take all the rubbish to the dump and sweep and mop the floors. Please let me know if you would like to use this service.

There are a number of young people on the mountain who are happy to serve, waitress, clean up and generally be helpful on the day. They charge $20 per hour.

Mobile reception is patchy to non-existent on the mountain. Some providers do not work up here at all. Telstra is the most reliable.
